Qualifying statement here - I was one of those guys who resisted the idea of "Top Gear" airing in the U.S. on the History Channel. Love watching the BBC version with Jeremy, Richard & James (and the Stig). 

So the American version comes out with Rutledge Wood (great on Speed Channel), comedian/actor Adam Ferarra and Tanner Foust (one of the best drivers in the world). Now i'm in - sound good. And guess what? It is...has a definite American feel to it, and they take time discuss and embrace the history of the cars (lots of shots here in Detroit).

It airs Tuesday nights at 9pm on History Channel -- and if you love cars, this show is for you (just don't look when Adam drives...he tends to wreck everything in sight).
