Consider the source – the gossip-happy New York Post – but reports indicate that things are a bit rocky in the world of Aerosmith even as the group is on the road pushing its new album, “Music From Another Dimension!” The Post quotes an unnamed source as saying that the members of the famously – and admittedly – dysfunctional group are “barely speaking to each other,” with tensions exacerbated by the disappointing firt-week sales of “Music…” which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart with sales of 63,000 copies. The source said that, "The band isn't really talking…Pretty bad for their first release in a decade. No dates on the current tour are sold out. Meanwhile, (frontman Steven Tyler’s lawyer and business manager Dina) LaPolt is doing a reality show pilot instead of focusing on Tyler's career, and his career needs help." Tyler is also reportedly on the rocks with fiancé Erin Brady, and another source told the post that the singer is “very unhappy about the reception of the album” and is blaming Columbia Records, the group’s label. Meanwhile, an Aerosmith spokesperson told the Post that "Aerosmith is doing great and on tour and on fire. Any claim to the contrary is absolutely false."
