BOB DYLAN GOING BACK TO BOOTLEGGING NEXT YEAR

10/24/2012

Bob Dylan took a break from his popular Bootleg Series archival releases this year to make room for his new studio album, "Tempest," but it appears he'll make up for lost time in 2013. The Dylan fan site www.BobDylanIsis.com reports that two Bootleg Series releases -- Volumes 10 and 11 -- will be coming in 2013, with one hailing from recordings made during 1969-70 and the other mining the vaults from the sessions for his landmark "Blood On the Tracks" album. Dylan is also releasing a special vinyl single version of the "Tempest" track "Duquesne Whistle" for Record Store Day on November 23; the B-side is rumored to be "Meet Me in the Morning," an unreleased track reportedly from one of the Bootleg sets. Dylan and Mark Knopfler perform November 13 at Detroit's Fox Theatre.
