10/1/2012

Led Zeppelin is planning to premiere its new concert film, "Celebration Day," in four countries. Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones, along with drummer Jason Bonham, will appear at the October 9 debut at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City; the four also plan a press conference that day at New York's Museum of Modern Art. Page, Plant and Jones also plan to appear at the October 12 British premiere at the Hammersmith Apollo. Jones is slated for the October 15 showing in Berlin, while Page is set to be at the October 16 roll-out in Tokyo. "Celebration Day" was filmed during the group's 2007 reunion concert at London's O2 Arena and will open in theaters worldwide on October 17. DVD, Blu-ray and CD editions of the show come out November 19. Page, Plant and Jones will also represent Led Zeppelin at the 2012 Kennedy Center Honors on December 2 in Washington, D.C., which will be taped for airing on CBS later in the month.
