A painting done by all four Beatles in 1966 has sold for $150,250 at auction. The group members collaborated on the painting, titled "Images of a Woman," during their Japanese tour that year as a way to combat hotel boredom. It was purchased by a collector in 1991, who kept it boxed in a humidity-controlled frame under a bed for 20 years until putting it up for bid at a New York auction. Pre-sale estimates expected "Images..." to fetch $80,000-$120,000. The new owner has remained anonymous.
