Bob Dylan is enjoying better odds to win this year's Nobel price for literature. British bookmakers Ladbrokes put Dylan's chances at 10/1, behind only Japan's Haruki Murakimi, who's at 7/1. Dylan -- who would be honored for his lyrics, poetry and prose, including the 2004 memoir "Chronicles" -- has moved up thanks to recent bets on his chances placed in Norway and the U.K. Ladbrokes, however, predicts Dylan will never win the prize, though a firm official told Britain's Guardian newspaper that, "We're happy to 'fill the satchel' in bookmaking terms as we expect the Dylan backers to part with their cash again this year." Dylan recently released a new album, "Tempest," and performs November 13 at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
