The late John Lennon is the biggest rock star of all time -- at least according to Britain's New Musical Express. Lennon, who was killed in 1980, was chosen by votes from more than 160,000 readers, with former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher finishing second and David Bowie in third place. Jimi Hendrix finished No. 7 in the poll. NME's editors had short-listed 60 artists to represent 60 years of rock 'n' roll before turning the ultimate choice over to the readers.
