CSN REVISITING FIRST ALBUM NEXT MONTH IN NEW YORK

9/19/2012

Crosby, Stills & Nash will make their last public concert of 2012 a memorable one. The group will perform its self-titled 1969 debut album in its entirety on October 22 at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, the first time the group has done that for any of its albums. In a statement announcing the event, Graham Nash said that, "We've had an incredible time on the road this year. We can't think of a better way to honor the end of our 2012 tour, than playing our first album as the last set of our final show." "Crosby, Stills and Nash" came out in May of 1969, spawning the Top 30 singles "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" and "Marrakesh Express." Shortly after that Neil Young was added to the lineup, and CSNY's "Deja Vu" came out the following year. CSN released the CD/DVD "CSN 2012" live set earlier this year.
