Paul Simon released his "Songwriter" collaboration last October; now Art Garfunkel is coming with "The Singer." Garfunkel, who's been sidelined with vocal cord paresis since 2010, will release the two-disc, 24-song set on August 28, featuring a pair of newly recorded songs -- "Lena" and "Long Way Home" -- as well as favorites from Simon & Garfunkel and from Grafunkel's 10 solo albums. There's more good news for Garfunkel fans; he's announced a September 14 show at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey, while will be his first live performance in more than two years.
