John Lennon's killer is changing his address. Mark David Chapman, who shot Lennon to death outside the former Beatle's Manhattan apartment building on December 8, 1980, has been transferred from Attica Correctional Facility to the Wende Correctional Facility in Alden, New York, not far from Buffalo. No reason was given for the transfer. Chapman plead guilty to the murder in June of 1981 and is serving a 20 years to life sentence. He's been denied parole on six attempts so far and is due for another review in August.
