Tickets for U2's June 30th concert at Spartans Stadium in East Lansing will
go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, November 23rd, at Ticket Master locations and via
www.livenation.com. Michigan State
University's Breslin Center box office will also sell tickets but for only one
day, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on the 23rd. General admission field tickets will be priced
at $55, while a selection of grandstand seats will be $30. U2, meanwhile, was
recently fined $53,000 for disturbing the piece in Dublin, Ireland, while there
to play a concert in July. The Dublin City Council cited a dozen violations of
noise ordinances during the three shows, as well as the non-stop 44-hour
teardown of its massive stage. The band's not crying poverty, though; it took in
a reported $30 million from the concerts.
