Over the weekend, Carlos Santana got himself into a little fender bender, and now, rumors are surfacing as to what caused the accident.
As we reported earlier this week, Santana was luckily unharmed after he crashed his Fiska Karma into a parked vehicle on Friday (September 13) Las Vegas, where he is currently stationed as he performs a residency at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay.
However, what was initially billed as a ‘minor accident’ has now been revealed to be a bit more than that. TMZ obtained a photo of the car, which shows the frontend completely smashed in and the airbags deployed.
TMZ also states that Santana actually hit two parked cars after falling asleep at the wheel; the Las Vegas Journal previously reported that the rocker was not under the influence of any substances at the time of the crash.
The day after the incident, Santana, who was just announced as one of the 2013 Kennedy Center Honors recipients, took to his official Facebook page to express his gratitude to fans for their “outpouring of tangible love,” though he does not mention his recent accident.
