Iconic guitarist Carlos Santana was involved in a car accident Friday night after allegedly crashing his vehicle into a parked car, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Santana was alone and uninjured in the accident, which took place during his drive home, though there are few other details about the actual incident.
According to Lt. Ken Romane, the musician was not driving under the influence during the time of the accident, though it’s unclear if the police on scene conducted a field sobriety test.
“He hit a parked car, it was a minor accident, is all,” Romane told the Review-Journal.
The day after the crash, the guitar player released a message on his official Facebook page, expressing gratitude for the “abundance of miracles” in his life and for winning a Kennedy Center Honors Award.
The 36th Annual Kennedy Center Honors will air on December 29 on CBS, also honoring Billy Joel, actress Shirley MacLaine, Herbie Hancock and opera singer Martina Arroyo.
Santana is in the middle of a residency at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay in Vegas. He will continue through the rest of the month before returning for select dates in November and early 2014.
