Black Sabbath has set a November 26 release date for "Live...Gathered In Their Masses," a DVD filmed at the group's April 29 and May 1 shows at the Rod Laver Arena in Melobourne, Australia, prior to the release of its new album, "13," and its summer North American tour.
A teaser for the set has been posted online showing the group playing the end of "Iron Man," and the two shows featured 16-song sets that included the new tracks "End of the Beginning," "Loner," "God Is Dead?" and "Methademic."
Earlier this year frontman Ozzy Osbourne told us that the audience excitement at those early shows made him feel like Black Sabbath's reunion would be a great success: (Warning: Language NSFW)
"I am blown away... If Australia and New Zealand and Japan we just did are anything to go by, it's gonna be great. Japan's very, they're usually very polite, give you a round of applause and sit down again. But we just did Japan and they were f***ing going crazy. I'm baffled myself....I don't understand any of it."
Black Sabbath is currently preparing for a South American tour that begins October 4 in Chile, with Megadeth opening.
Guitarist Tony Iommi, who battled cancer throughout the making of "13," recently revealed that he went back into treatments following the group's North American tour but is expected to be ready for the upcoming dates.
