If you missed the Black Crowes on tour earlier this year, worry not!
The band has just announced that they will kick off another leg of their Lay Down with Number 13 tour this fall, beginning on September 5 in Cooperstown, NY and wrapping on December 14 in San Francisco, CA, according to the official press release.
The Crowes’ 2013 tour marks their first trek in two years, and judging from the sold-out crowds, we’re guessing that fans are more than happy to have Chris and Rich Robinson, Steve Gorman, Sven Pipien and Adam MacDougall back. The group is also touring with a new member, guitarist Jackie Greene, and playing both their greatest hits and other favorites from their vast catalog of music.
Those who don’t want to wait until the fall to see the Black Crowes rock the stage can get their fix as early as this weekend, as the band is set to kick off a series of co-headlining tour dates with the Tedeschi Trucks Band, which begin tonight, July 19, in Nashville, TN and end on August 15 in Rochester Hills, MI.
The band’s latest release, a four-sided vinyl collection and double album entitled Wiser for the Time, was released earlier this year via Silver Arrow/Megaforce Records.
