Nine Inch Nails shared the names of their collaborators for the band’s upcoming album Hesitation Marks over the weekend, and “rumour” has it that Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham will perform on the new record.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Trent Reznor-led group has unveiled the tracklist and credits for the album, which include several previously unannounced contributors, most notably including Buckingham and bassist Pino Palladino, who is best known for his work in The Who.
The two musicians join an impressive list of collaborators that also includes David Lynch, who may direct a NIN music video, as well as Reznor’s frequent producing partner Atticus Ross, with whom he has won several awards for their soundtrack work on The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Social Network.
At this point, it hasn’t been announced which of the band’s songs Buckingham and Palladino will perform on, though fans can count out the single “Came Back Haunted,” which was released earlier in June.
