Deep Purple is getting freaky on the music video for their latest single “Vincent Price.”
According to Blabbermouth, the British rockers, who are currently in the middle of a European tour, have released a video for the second single off of 2013’s Now What?!, marking the band’s first music video in more than twenty years.
Mostly shot in black-and-white, the video, named for the legendary Vincent Price, pays homage to the late horror movie icon.
Opening with an eerie organ player, the rockin’ new video comes complete with a Price look-alike, classic horror characters like Frankenstein’s monster and the Mummy, and a callback to Price’s appearance in the 1953 original “House of Wax.”
On June 7, “Vincent Price” will be released as a seven-inch transparent vinyl, as well as digitally and on CD.
