Robert Plant Announces U.S. Summer Tour with the Sensational Space Shifters
By: Ray Hidalgo

It’s been a few decades since he took the world by storm as the frontman for Led Zeppelin, flanked by Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones with backing from John Bonham. And while Zeppelin may not have plans to reunite any time soon, Robert Plant is still rockin’ the mic. His latest setup will be touring around the U.S. as Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters starting June 20 in Dallas and wrapping up on July 27 in Brooklyn, NY.

With Plant rounded out by six other talented musicians, the Space Shifters are a worthy tribute to Zeppelin, according to Moshtix reviewer Dean Forte, “Plant’s on-stage mannerisms [were] just like they were back in the 1970s. You could feel the hair stand up on the back of your neck when Plant picked up the microphone stand and let out his trademark wail; it was a magic moment in time where you lost track of what decade you were in”
