The Rolling Stones Announce More North American Shows

The Rolling Stones’ “50 & Counting” North American tour is branded on the legendary band’s continuing half-century tradition of great music, and they’re far from done.

The group announced several additional tour dates over the course of this week, and the new shows will have the British rockers jumping from coast-to-coast in the U.S. and crossing the border for a show in Montreal.

In other news, fans will get a cinematic glimpse into the Stones’ journey toward stardom with the release of Crossfire Hurricane on May 21 in DVD and Blu-ray formats. The acclaimed documentary will also available via digital download.

Directed by Brett Morgen, the film features plenty of never-before-seen footage with commentaries from the Stones, including former band members Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor. There will also be unreleased film from concerts dating back to the 1960s.

So whether you head to one of the “50 & Counting” concerts or decide to sit in front of your computer or TV and pop in Crossfire Hurricane, there’s no reason not to check out some of the best that the Rolling Stones have to offer!
