Will the light meet the dark? It is a strong possibility as Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne joins the ranks of Adele fandom by expressing his desire to work with the songstress.
In an interview with Australia’s Rip It Up, The Great Ozz said of a possible Adele collaboration, “I’d die a happy man; I think she’s f*****g great. She’s not f*****g botox-faced; she’s a normal, healthy girl who speaks in her native accent.”
Spot on Ozzy! But before fans become too excited, Black Sabbath must finish touring and promoting their new album 13. Slated for release on June 11, Sabbath will also perform six shows in Australia from March 25 to May 7.
If after four decades the original Sabbath crew (sans drummer Bill Ward) returned to the studio, then anything is possible. The Prince of Darkness with the etherealness of Adele could make an interesting combination.
