Happy Birthday Nancy Wilson!
Claire Holton
3/15/2013

As one half of the hard rock duo Heart, Nancy Wilson has plenty of heart!

She topped the charts with sister and lead singer Ann Wilson throughout the 80’s and 90’s with hits like “These Dreams,” “Alone,” “Barracuda,” “What About Love?” and more.  And besides rocking with Heart, Nancy has performed and composed the scores for movies like 1996’s “Jerry Maguire” and 2000’s “Almost Famous.”

In 2012, Heart made a big comeback with a mesmerizing performance of the Led Zeppelin classic “Stairway To Heaven” at the Kennedy Center Honors and the release of their tell-all memoir, “Kicking and Dreaming: A Story of Heart, Soul, and Rock & Roll.” Nancy is also coming up on her one-year wedding anniversary with Fox executive Geoff Bywater, whom she tied the knote with last May.

Currently, the women of Heart are on a Canadian tour and will (finally) be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell on April 18.

Happy Birthday Nancy!
