Gone but not forgotten is Jimi Hendrix, and fans of the late musician have a chance hear his latest tunes before they hit the stores. You read that correctly. Hendrix's latest tunes.
March 5th is when the album, People, Hell and Angels will be available digitally to the masses. Get ready to experience 12 previously unreleased tracks from Hendrix that were recorded from 1968-1970, originally intended for the First Days of the New Rising Sun album.
Select songs have been released to the public since January. According to NME the song “Somewhere” played for the first time on the BBC 6Music program. Fans also have the opportunity to listen to internet streaming of “Hear My Train Coming,” courtesy of Rolling Stone, and “Earth Blues.”
Considering Hendrix tops the Rolling Stone list as the greatest guitarist of all time, there is much anticipation for this album. Based on the positive reviews from fans (because we have the last say) on the early release of two songs, it is safe to say that People, Hell and Angels invoke the memory of Hendrix better than a Coachella hologram.
