Jason Bonham on Robert Plant's Reunion Tease
Claire Holton

Jason Bonham
, son of the band’s legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, recently chimed in on Robert Plant’s tantalizing comments about a 2014 Led Zeppelin reunion tour.

The son of rock posted on his official Facebook page Wednesday, “I just watched Robert’s interview, where he says he’s free in 2014.  Not sure how to read it – What do you think?”

In a recent interview on Australian TV’s “Extra Minutes”, Plant revealed that the decision to unite Zeppelin once again lies with guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones. The frontman then playfully quipped, “I’ve got nothing to do in 2014;” a comment which excited fans across the globe.

Led Zeppelin officially broke up after John Bonham’s untimely passing in 1980. But, in 2007, son Jason drummed with the band for a one time reunion gig at London’s O2 Arena. After, Bonham claims, the group got “very close” to producing new music and touring without Plant. Reportedly, vocalists Steven Tyler and Myles Kennedy were also in the running to be the band’s new lead singer.
