If you’re a Bon Jovi buff that also loves all-things digital, then this week is full of good news for you!

The band is utilizing today’s technologies to give their fans a unique experience for their latest release, What About Now! The Jersey natives announced today (February 5th) via official press release that the artwork for their upcoming LP is available now to those who download their official Bon Jovi app.

After the app is downloaded, smart phone users can point their devices at an image available on their Facebook page. Using ‘Augmented Reality’, the app will then open a special animation, which leads to an exclusive new music video for the song “Not Running Anymore.”

Bon Jovi also announced that they will be streaming their Because We Can – The Tour kick-off concert on Saturday, February 9th live from the Mohegan Sun in Montville, CT. Fans can head to either BonJovi.com or Radio.com at 7:30pm EST for the pre-show, and then watch the first 30 minutes of the concert beginning at 8pm EST.

And for those who are planning to attend one of the band’s upcoming concerts and want to become more engaged in the action, Bon Jovi has provided the opportunity for fans to be featured on the stage’s big screen during the song “Keep the Faith”! Using the mobile app Viddy, smart phone users can record a 15 second video of themselves rocking out with the maracas while displaying some hometown pride by standing in front of their favorite local landmark.

Videos should be uploaded to the Viddy site using the hashtag #becausewecan before Wednesday, February 6th, and the best will be chosen to be shown during the Because We Can tour!

The band’s 12th studio album, What About Now! is due out on March 26th via Island records.
