The Rolling Stones continue to make Rock and Roll history with their 50th anniversary shows.

At their second concert at London’s O2 Arena last night (November 29th) the UK rockers were joined on stage by another legendary artist. Slowhand himself: Mr. Eric Clapton.

The famed guitarist performed “Champagne and Reefer” with the band, and was among several special guests that made appearances throughout the night. Other familiar faces included former members Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor, and Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine, who lent her impressive vocals to “Gimme Shelter”.

The Stones still have three arena shows left, with one scheduled at the Barclay Center in NYC on December 8th and two at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, on December 13th and 15th.

And those who won’t be able to make it to any of these dates: worry not! The final Newark concert will be shown live on pay-per-view in conjunction with Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment, airing in the U.S. at 9pm EST.

Rumors have also been surfacing that the Rolling Stones have additional anniversary shows up their sleeves for 2013, though no official announcements have been made.

Still, fans remain hopeful, as many know that the band consider their true anniversary to be next year since drummer Charlie Watts didn’t join the lineup until January of 1963.
