RONNIE KNEW

11/20/2012

As The Rolling Stones celebrate their 50th anniversary, one member of the band who wasn't a member in 1962, knew that year that one day he would be.Ronnie Wood tells us he saw them in London that year at the Richmond Jazz and Blues Festival and the "tent was rocking... I was the last one out of there and I thought, 'That looks like a good job. I'm gonna be in that band...' And it was no surprise when I joined them." Woody would have to wait 13 years, but his dream came true in 1975 when he replaced Mick Taylor. Before the Stones, Woody played in The Jeff Beck Group and The Faces. Woody and The Stones do their first of two London shows on Sunday at the O2 Arena.
