Paul McCartney, rock’s most famous vegan, is trying to save a few turkeys this holiday season. McCartney appears in a new print ad for the People For the Ethical Treatment of Anmials (PETA), sporting a T-shirt that says Eat No Turkey. McCartney has also narrated a new film called “Glass Houses” that proclaims “if slaughterhouses had glass walls, every would  be vegetarian.” McCartney tells Britain’s New Musical Express that he and his family prepare a “veggie roast” for their holiday meals: “It’s completely vegetarian, but I can slice it, so I can do all my traditional dad things…and it’s delicious, so I much prefer that to my memory of turkey.” McCarntey recently released the DVD “Live Kisses” and is working on a pair of new albums.
