A rare filmed concert by Van Morrison's mid-1960s band Them will be released on DVD on December 11th. In Mystic Eyes: Live 1965, the Belfast band does "Gloria" (which it originated) and the title song.

The Yardbirds, who mined the same blues-based styles as Them back in the day, will also release a DVD that day. But the two-DVD Making Tracks: On Tour 2010-2012 features the band's current incarnation. Only drummer Jim McCarty and rhythm guitarist Chris Dreja are left from their heyday. Their three bandmates weren't born when Eric Clapton,Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page played in the legendary group.
