Pete Townshend tells all -- or at least a lot -- in "Who I Am," his new autobiography that's published Monday (October 8). The wide-ranging, detailed and candid tome weighs in at 538 pages and deals with all things Who as well as sexual molestation Townshend says he experienced as a child -- which sent him exploring the world of child pornography, resulting in a 2003 arrest in Britain. Townshend tells The Insider that writing "Who I Am" was "a cathartic process, but it's also something that takes me back to crazier times, and sometimes I just have to sit after I've been writing for awhile and just kind of forgive myself and let myself off the hook and say, 'Listen, everybody knows this stuff. All I'm doing is giving my point of view.' " Townshend and Roger Daltrey hit the road with The Who on November 1 for a Quadrophenia And More Tour, stopping on November 24 at Joe Louis Arena.
