First Robert Plant said he did; now his representatives are saying he didn't. Shortly after the former Led Zeppelin told The Independent in Britain that he had "eloped and ran off to Texas" -- seemingly confirming that he had, as rumored, married fellow singer and Band of Joy member Patty Griffin -- Plant's camp issued a statement saying that "Robert has not married Patty Griffin. He was just referring to the fact that he's been residing in Texas." Plant has been spotted in Austin since last fall, and both he and Griffin have been wearing what appear to be wedding bands. The mystery will likely persists. Plant and his Band of Joy recently issued a DVD from its performance on the PBS series "Live From the Artists Den," while PLant and his current band, the Sensational Space Shifters, perform at the WOMAD festival on July 29 in England and will play shows next month in Mississippi and Alabama.
