Kiss has delivered its first taste of "Monster." "Hell or Hallelujah," the hard-rocking first single from the upcoming Paul Stanley-produced "Monster" album is just out; lyric videos can be found online, including through YouTube and Kiss' web site. In a statement, Stanley describes the tune as "a battle cry that encapsulates the entire record." Other tracks slated for "Monster" include "No Lies No Fakin'," "Freak" and the Gene Simmons-sung "Back to the Stone Age" and "The Devil is Me." Guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer have lead vocals, too, on "Outta This World" and "All For the Love of Rock & Roll," respectively. The "Monster" album is due out in October and will be accompanied by a limited edition book, "KISS Monster," that's the size of a guitar and costs $4,299." Each of the 1,000 copies will be signed by the band members. Kiss comes to town with Motley Crue on September 5 at the DTE Energy Music Theatre.
