Ringo Starr Album Coming In January

Beatles drummer Ringo Starr is readying a 2010 release for his 16th solo album, reportedly titled "Y Not" and scheduled for January 12th -- although Starr's representatives are not confirming that information. A number of high-profile guests have been part of the recording sessions, including Paul McCartney, Eurythmics' Dave Stewart and All-Starr Band alumni Joe Walsh, Billy Squier, Edgar Winter and Gary Wright. Onetime ELO leader and Traveling Wilburys member Jeff Lynne is also rumored to be part of the proceedings. There's no word yet on whether Starr will tour to promote the album.
