U2 is including Michigan on the second North American leg of its U2 306
tour in 2010. The Irish quartet will play on June 30 at Spartan Stadium in East
Lansing; an on-sale date for tickets will be announced soon, with general
admission tickets for the field level at $55 and at least 10,000 seats priced at
$30.
It's one of only a dozen dates announced so far for the 2010 North American
run. The tour, which features the largest rock 'n' roll road production ever,
began June 30 in Spain and will have played to more than three million fans by
the time the first North American leg wraps up on Wednesday (October 28th) in
Vancouver.
U2 is also performing on Friday (June 30th) as part of the Rock and
Roll Hall of Fame 25th anniversary concerts at New York's Madison Square Garden.
U2 will offer pre-sale opportunities to members of its official fan club.
