U2 isn't expected in Detroit until the spring or summer of 2010, but fans
will be able to tune into the group's concert on Sunday (October 25th) in
Pasadena, Calif. The Irish quartet's Rose Bowl show will be streamed on YouTube
and at U2.com beginning at about 11:30 p.m. ET. It's billed as the first
full-length live global concert on YouTube, reaching 16 countries. It's also the
next-to-last concert of the first North American leg of the group's 360 Tour,
before an expected sell-out crowd of 96,000. U2 has already announced summer
dates in Europe for 2010 and is expected to be back in North America during May
and June. Frontman Bono and guitarist The Edge, meanwhile, are finishing up work
on the "Spider-Man" production for Broadway, which is expected to open next
year.
