KISS is helping Major League Baseball fans get "Dressed to Kill."
The group that's never met a product it couldn't slap a KISS logo on has teamed with MLB to use its iconic "Dressed To Kill" album pose on T-shirts for individual teams, which are currently being sold by the league and the band via its www.kissonline.com web site.
So far there are nine KISS T-shirts in the line, including the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, Oakland Athletics, St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco Giants. More will be added in the near future.
Meanwhile, bassist Gene Simmons tells us that more KISS product in general is in the offing (big surprise, eh?):
"Yes, there's so much coming. There's a 'Kissology 4' and there's a TV series coming and a movie coming and a documentary coming and there's lots of stuff. And all very exciting."
The TV series is "4th and Loud," an AMC reality show documenting Simmons' and Paul Stanley's ownership of the L.A. KISS Arena Football League team that debuts on August 5.
KISS is currently on tour with Def Leppard, with shows scheduled until August 31.
…Speaking of scheduled shows, while it wasn’t exactly a secret, it’s now official: the KISS Las Vegas residency is a-go!
Per KISSOnline.com, the band will be performing at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for nine dates starting November 5th. Tickets start at $49.50 and go on sale this Friday (July 18) at AXS.com.
The Joint is definitely a smaller venue than KISS is used to playing. (Each performance will have a 3,200 capacity.) However, the band promises all of the bells and whistles you’d get in an arena show. So, if you’re looking for a more intimate KISS experience, you might want to consider saving up for a trip to Vegas in November.
