Tony Iommi: “We’ll see you on the next tour”

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA - NOVEMBER 11: Musician Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath appears at a press conference to announce their first new album in 33 years and a world tour in 2012 at the Whiskey A Go-Go on November 11, 2011 in West Hollywood, California.
Black Sabbath
’s Hyde Park gig this weekend had been surrounded by speculation that it could be the last gig for the legendary metal band.

Turns out that it’s not!

Tony Iommi posted the video below to his Facebook page, and ended it with, “We’ll see you on the next tour.”

Side note:  That noise you just heard was Sabbath fans breathing a sigh of relief.

Of course, many fans are still concerned about Iommi, who has been battling cancer since 2012.  While he has expressed that touring takes a lot of energy out him, it definitely sounds like Iommi still wants to rock.
