Perry Says “No” To Journey Reunion Rumors

HOLLYWOOD, CA - MARCH 06: Musician/Singer Steve Perry arrives for the premiere of DreamWorks Pictures' 'Need For Speed' at TCL Chinese Theatre on March 6, 2014 in Hollywood, California.
Since Steve Perry’s return to the stage, there have been many rumblings of a possible Journey reunion.

In a recent interview with FanAsylum.com, Perry was asked about current Journey lead singer Arnel Pineda’s comments about how he would gladly step aside to make way for a reunion, and he dismissed the rumors rather quickly.

“I don’t know who or what would make Arnel want to say such a thing,” said Perry.  “He’s their lead singer, and I only wish him all of the very best!  This is no reunion.”

While there isn’t a Journey reunion in the works right now, it sounds like Perry might be keen to performing more often.  Perry said once he stepped on stage, he “realized in a nano second” how much he missed performing and that it “was like having sex for the first time in 20 years.”

Wow…he must have REALLY missed performing!
