Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Stream Two New Tracks

MANCHESTER, TN - JUNE 16: Tom Petty of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers performs onstage at What Stage during day 4 of the 2013 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival on June 16, 2013 in Manchester, Tennessee.
On the heels of the premier of “American Dream Plan B,” Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers began streaming two new tracks from their new album Hypnotic Eye.

Embedded below, the melodic “Red River” and mellow foot-tapper “U Get Me High” showed up recently through Spotify and offers fans more evidence of the band leaning toward a more rock sound, as opposed to their last album, 2010’s Mojo, which leaned more toward blues.

Fans can download these two tracks, as well as the previously released “American Dream Plan B,” when they pre-order Hypnotic Eye over at, where the album is available for purchase in five different formats, or at iTunes and Amazon.

Those who pre-order the new album now will also receive yet to be determined additional songs on June 24th and July 15th before being release to the public on July 29th.
