Zeppelin Reissues Debut in Top 10 of Billboard 200

Led Zeppelin - "Led Zeppelin I, II & III"
All of the promotion behind the first three Led Zeppelin reissues really paid off.

Per Billboard.com, Led Zeppelin I, II & III each debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 album charts this week.  Led Zeppelin I  came in a number 7, with 37,000 copies sold.  Led Zeppelin II  followed in  at number 9, with 34,000 copies sold, and Led Zeppelin III  rounded out the debuts at number 10 with 32,000 copies sold.

These first three reissues are just the first rollout of the entire Led Zeppelin catalog, which is being remastered by Jimmy Page.  No word yet as to when the next three remastered albums (Led Zeppelin IV, House of the Holy and Physical Graffiti) will come out, but I think it’s safe to say that if the same promotion style is used for those releases, fans will be in for some really cool new previews of what’s in store.
