When rockers feud, they tend to do so with themselves, but in the case of Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, their most recent back-and-forth involves a notable sitcom actor.
Eric Stonestreet, who plays Cam on ABC’s “Modern Family,” took to Instagram to call out Gene and Paul for being rude to his mother on a recent flight, saying they tried to make her change seats on the plane and then insulted her when she refused to move.
Stonestreet wrote in his post that he “can’t wait to run into you two old ass makeup wearing f*cks and tell you in person; you should have been nicer to my mom.”
Obviously, Gene and Paul have denied these claims (Paul has since deleted his Twitter remarks, but Gene has left his tweets up in their all-caps glory), so we may never know the “truth.”
However, while I am glad Gene and Paul have ceased their open mud-slinging toward former KISS bandmates Ace Frehley and Peter Criss, if this incident did occur, I’m not very pleased that they’ve moved onto bullying older ladies.
