Online Springsteen Museum Launches In June

CENTURY CITY, CA - MAY 07: Musician Bruce Springsteen performs onstage during USC Shoah Foundation's 20th Anniversary Gala at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on May 7, 2014 in Century City, California.
In what is surely a first, a new “online museum” dedicated to Bruce Springsteen will go live in June 4th.

Located at, the online museum will feature hundreds of Springsteen artifacts, some of which are already posted to the sites Facebook page, including hand-written lyrics, old promo posters and even The Boss’ first grade report card. (Good news: Bruce passed with flying colors and was able to move on to second grade.)

One of the most unique features about the Springsteen museum is that every six weeks, it will hold a contest where fans can win different artifacts.  According to a post on its Facebook page, autographed album artwork will serve as the first giveaway, with Springsteen’s 1957 Chevy Bel Air Convertible being another giveaway in the near future.

This isn’t the first time Springsteen has been the subject of an exhibit.  The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum hosted “From Asbury Park to the Promised Land: The Life and Music of Bruce Springsteen” from April 2009 to February 2011.
