Fogerty Joins Springsteen During New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival Set

Bruce Springsteen
has been performing his share of covers on his “High Hopes” tour, but this might be the only time he’s been joined by the original voice behind the song.

At a recent gig at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Springsteen was joined on stage by John Fogerty where the two, along with the E Street Band, performed Creedence Clearwater Revival classics “Proud Mary” (above) and “Green River” (below).

The best part about this video, other than hearing two iconic voices go back and forth, is watching Fogerty bounce around during the two performances.  The guy is turning 69 this month, and he’s still having a blast performing!  You can’t help but love and appreciate that.
