Late KISS Drummer’s Family Suing For Unpaid Royalties

It seems like KISS just can’t stay out of the headlines lately.

First reported by the New York Post, the family of Eric Carr, who was KISS’ drummer from 1980 until his death in 1991, is suing the band for unpaid royalties from titles written by Carr.

While they were receiving royalties from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), Carr’s family claims they should have been receiving additional checks from other KISS affiliates.

It’ll definitely be interesting to see how everything shakes out and whether or not this lawsuit will actually go to trial.
