Toto Set To Release New LP

Toto has been busy on the road during the past couple of years; now the group will have some new music to offer fans.

The group has confirmed it will record and release a new studio album this year, its first since "Falling In Between" in 2006.

In a statement, keyboardist and co-founder David Paich reports that, "The repertoire is coming together so naturally it is as though we never took a break from creating as Toto in the studio. For the fans who have been waiting patiently and continually showing the band support and love over the last decade or so, this one's for you. Collectively, we can't wait to share these recordings with The World."

Before that, however, Toto will release "Toto 35th Anniversary: Live in Poland" on CD, DVD and Blu-ray, filmed during a June 25, 2013 concert in Lodz.

Toto hits the road again on April 23 in Japan, with new drummer Keith Carlock (Steely Dan, Sting, Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood) replacing Simon Phillips.

Toto is planning a North American tour during August and September, co-headlining with Michael McDonald.
