The Beatles & Black Sabbath Have New Shoe Lines

Now The Beatles and Black Sabbath share a common bond – besides their English roots of course.  As a matter of fact, the Beatles are following in Black Sabbath’s footsteps, literally.

According to Rolling Stone and The Vans website, The Beatles are collaborating with Vans and releasing their own line of shoes inspired by their psychedelic Yellow Submarine album.  The lads from Liverpool anticipate a prosperous year.  Paul and Ringo will be performing and receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award  at this year’s Grammys on January 26th.

On the other hand, err foot, Black Sabbath will extend their relationship with Converse and release five new Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers for their spring line.  The metal-inspired footwear will feature logos, cover art, and images of the band.  Black Sabbath got their feet wet with Converse in their 2008 collection.  This rocking collection will retail between $60 and $70 at retail locations and online at   

Ozzy Osbourne and the boys recently announced a number of U.S. tour dates for this year.  This tour is rumored to be some of the last shows for this storied band.

Now the Beatles and Black Sabbath may now know what it’s like to walk in each other’s shoes.  Well, not exactly.
