Director of Forthcoming KISS Biopic Posts Update

The upcoming KISS biopic is moving along!

At least, according to director Alan G. Parker, who recently posted the following update on band’s official website:

KISS movie is in edit stages... Week 6... Looking good... We currently have a very rough 8 hour cut, and we are pushing and prodding it down to it's finished state... I would think about 2 hours plus... In keeping with my other movies... Release date is looking like late this year...

Entitled You Wanted the Best You Got the Best, the film will feature an in-depth look at the band’s career, which has spanned over four decades, tens of millions of albums and endless merchandise.

Check out a special movie poster at KISSOnline.com.

KISS is set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year alongside Nirvana, Peter Gabriel, Daryl Hall and John Oates, Linda Ronstadt and Cat Stevens. The ceremony is set for April 10 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, and will air on HBO in May.
