Though many of Billy Joel’s live performances this year will take place inside the walls of New York City’s Madison Square Garden, the singer is still planning to hit the road for several tour dates.
Previously announced shows included stops in Tampa, Jacksonville, Raleigh, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Hollywood and Las Vegas. Now, Joel has added even more dates, with concerts scheduled in Nashville, Cleveland and Louisville on March 14, April 1 and April 6, respectively.
Meanwhile, the “Piano Man” hit the stage for the first time this year by playing shows in South Florida this week, one of which is available for streaming on his official website.
In December, it was announced that Joel was the first musical act to ever become a franchise of Madison Square Garden, joining sports teams such as the Knicks, the Rangers and the Liberty. As of now, Joel will play nine shows at the Garden between this month and September, with more expected to be announced.
