Peter Frampton Posts 2014 Updates Online

2014 could hold some new music from Peter Frampton!

The iconic guitarist took to his official Facebook page last week to wish fans a Happy New Year and issue the following update:

Writing a new song but it doesn't get any easier. Playing guitar is the most enjoyable part of the process for me. Coming up with the initial idea is easy. Finishing it is the hard work. But the end result is worth it. Some live and get recorded and some fall by the wayside.”

Recording the finished piece is the where it gets enjoyable again. Love to mold the track with great sounds and playing. The techy stuff is mucho fun in my new studio. I have lots of new stuff in the works.”

A new studio album from Frampton would mark his first since 2010’s Thank You Mr. Churchill.

His time in the studio comes after spending a good portion of 2013 on his Guitar Circus tour, which featured legendary guitarist such as BB King, Sonny Landreth, Robert Cray, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and others collaborating with Frampton on stage.
