New Freddie Mercury DVD: "The Great Pretender"

Sure we all know that Freddie Mercury was the brillant lead singer of Queen.  He was over the top.  He lived the a Rock & Roll lifestyle.  Right?

Producer and director Rhys Thomas gives a chance to get to know all the sides of Mercury with his upcoming (September 25th) DVD/Blue-ray The Great Pretender.

To create this new DVD look at Freddie Mercury, Rhys and his team gathered previsouly  unearthing previously undiscovered or rarely seen footage that included rare interviews with Merucry.  

They combined these finds with newly filmed interviews with Brian May, Roger Taylor and many other friends and collobrators that shows a different Mercury that his flamboyant onstage public persona most of the world saw.

The Great Pretender DVD will also include outtakes from the video shoots for "I Want To Break Free," "One Vision," "Days of Our Lives," "I Want It All," "A Kind Of Magic," "Princes of the Universe," "Living on My Own," Born To Love You," "Great Pretender," "Made In Heaven," and "Who Wants to Live Forever."
