* Paul McCartney has announced the track listing for his "New" album, due outOctober 15, with a dozen songs -- six produced by Giles Martin, son of Beatles producer George Martin, two each by Ethan Johns and Mark Ronson, and one by Paul Epworth. The "New" title track will also appear in the animated film "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2," which opens October 15.
* Black Sabbath will release a concert DVD, "Live...Gathered In Their Masses," on November 26 from its April 29 and May 1 shows in Melbourne, Australia. A teaser for the set has been posted online. 
* Stevie Nicks told BBC Radio 4 that Christine McVie will definitely guest at two Fleetwood Mac shows during its upcoming European tour -- first on Saturday(September 21) and then most likely at one of its London shows. 
* Carlos Santana was involved in what Las Vegas police called a "minor" car crash when he drove into a parked car on Friday (September 13). The guitarist was not injured and police say he was not driving under the influence. 
* Estranged Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora has released a new song, "Engine 19," paying tribute to 9/11 first responders. 
* Leonard Cohen debuted a new song, "I've Got a Secret," during a recent concert in Dublin. 
* Forty-nine years ago today (September 15) "Shindig!" debuted on ABC. The show ran until January of 1966, when it was famously canceled in favor of "Batman."
